ABOUT ME
I have had a passion for the game of golf since an early age. Through the years I have learned and experienced many things about this amazing, albeit sometimes frustrating, game of golf.
Originally from the United Kingdom, I began playing from the age of 5. As a junior I competed in national and international events, representing the U.K twice in the World Junior Championships in San Diego, CA. I represented my county 1st team as well as The England South-East regional team.
In 2012 I moved to Myrtle Beach, SC to pursue a professional playing career. I was offered a position as an instructor at the Dyer Golf Academy, where I found my passion for teaching. I thoroughly enjoyed applying my knowledge and teaching philosophies to help golfers of all skill levels to improve their games.
I have been fortunate enough, over my career, to be coached by leading instructors, which has exposed, and allowed, me to learn from many different methods of teaching. I have developed my teaching philosophy and methodology through the continuous learning experiences I have encountered over my career, both from playing and interaction with students. I have adapted methods that found most effective as a player and strived to keep my instruction as simple and effective as possible. I feel it is key not only to provide my students with valuable teaching experiences and techniques, but for my students to learn and understand their own game so they can apply the principles learned to progressively become better players.
In May of 2019 I was inducted as a Member into The PGA of America. I am passionate to continue my knowledge and understanding of the game of golf, and am constantly striving to utilize the latest information and technologies associated to golf instruction.
